Visiting our sites makes for a full, enjoyable and fun-packed day out. We have lots of activities so there is something for everyone.
For those of our visitors who would like a gentle meander around one of our sites, the majority have great recreational facilities including;
- Visitor Information Centres
- Gift Shops
- Restaurants
- Adventure playgrounds
- Picnic areas
- Conservation and education programmes
- Additional seasonal events and pursuits
- Some of the bigger sites have clothing outlets, book and craft shops.
For the more active visitor to one of our sites there are numerous things to choose from – why not try;
- Cycling – bring your own or hire a bike and try out our cycle paths and trails
- Walking – boasts a variety of scenic walks
- Fishing – fly fishing at its best
- Watersports – action packed sailing, windsurfing or water skiing.
- Birdwatching – Peregrine and Osprey sightings!
Wherever you go, you will usually find our Rangers on hand to supervise, guide and help you to enjoy the great outdoors whilst making the most of your day out.
