Accessibility at our sites

The Upper Derwent Valley is an excellent area for the disabled to enjoy a day out, with car park provision close to the facilities including toilets. 

A comprehensive range of cycles including some specialised cycles are also available for hire.  Severely disabled visitors wishing to hire cycles should arrange with staff to park close to the cycle hire centre. 

The picnic site and fishing facilities are also suitable for disabled users.  The Dambusters Museum is open on Sundays and is run by volunteers while the information centre is open daily from 9.30am – 5pm.
