Walk To Water
"Walk to Water" is a project dedicated to offering free green exercise activities in the Haregate area of Leek. Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, The Primary Care Trust, Severn Trent Water, Natural England and Staffordshire County Council are all working in partnership together to deliver the £90,000 project. The project will also work alongside local groups such as Borderland Voices, Haregate Residents Association and Rethink.
"Walk to Water" has a focus on a footpath that links Tittesworth Avenue to Tittesworth reservoir. The path starts along an existing right of way and then joins a Severn Trent Water path near the reservoir dam. The route is around 3 miles long and takes around an hour to an hour and a half to walk.
