Bird & Wildlife Watching

Ogston enjoys a status as one of the best inland gull roosts in the UK; visiting species include Iceland, Glaucus, yellow legged and Caspian.  Approximately 228 species of birds have been seen and recorded in this avian paradise.

There is a public bird hide at Ogston which can be used free of charge, Ogston Bird Club is also based here - membership of which permits access to a further 3 bird hides on site. Annual membership costs £5 for adults, £7 for families and £1.50 for juniors.
