Bridleways

Carsington Water has a bridleway which is free for public use during normal opening hours.  It's open to riders, cyclists, walkers and runners, so make sure you bring along suitable equipment for whatever you plan to do.

We do not provide pony trekking or horse hire facilities.

The main car park and Millfields are suitable for horse boxes to be parked.  Please note that Sheepwash car park at the north of the reservoir is not suitable for horse boxes.
